The Brucklay horses are unique. They are all family, living as a herd. This allows us the privilege of observing their natural behaviour; they display the innate sociable nature of a herd animal. Teal, born in June 2007, has inherited the lovely temperament and relaxed attitude to life that is the result of generations of careful breeding.

The bloodline was begun when foundation Thoroughbred (TB) mare Dean Valley (Sheba) had her first foal, Arabella, in 1972.

There are presently 13 horses including 3 broodmares, Bella, Jessica and Twinkle (Bella's first foal to Flash). Sheba's son Flash, our Thoroughbred stallion is now 17 years old. His grandson Geronimo Paint, now 3, will ensure the continuation of the successful Brucklay breeding programme through future generations.
